The author presents a case of a lingual metastasis from a colon carcinoma. Metastases to the oral soft tissues are exceedingly rare (about 0, 1 of all oral malignancies); they rarely cause symptoms; because being usually a manifestation of widespread metastatic disease the prognosis is poor.
