Ischemic cutaneous gangrene is described in a 44 years old woman-patient, which could be attributed to metastatic calcinosis developed on account of secondary hyperparathyroidism. Recovery was obtained by subtotal parathyroidectomy, as well as by local treatment. For naming of the characteristic syndrome mentioned above, "uremic gangrene syndrome" is recommended.
