Effectiveness of intraligamentous anesthesia for caries and pulpitis in 83 patients was studied. This was efficient and simple technique of anesthesia of lower lateral teeth. Pulpul analgesia occured almost immediately after the injection and was accompanied by minimum of subjective sensations in the mouth. Arterial pressure and heart rate were investigated in all patients before, immediately and in 15-20 min after the injection with the help of automated monitor. Intraligamentous anesthesia beeng a vascular method caused in hypertensive patients unpredictable arterial pressure elevations.
