Comparison of the radiation heat transfer in plane and spherical geometries with anisotropic, isotropic scattering and no scattering assumption.

The problem of radiative transfer in a nonisothermal, absorbing, emitting, and scattering medium is investigated. The comparison of anisotropically, isotropically scattering, and of nonscattering media shows the limits for the assumption of simplified models.
