The experience with surgical treatment of 226 cases of caudal teratoma showed malignant transformation of the lesion to be frequent than generally believed (1.8%). Radical surgery was carried out in 3 out of 4 cases with malignant transformation of presacral cysts, combined procedures being employed in two of them.
对226例尾部畸胎瘤的手术治疗经验表明，病变的恶性转化比一般认为的更为常见（1.8%）。4例骶前囊肿发生恶性转化的病例中，有3例进行了根治性手术，其中2例采用了联合手术。
