OBJECTIVES
To discuss a concept about the current definition and treatment of premature ejaculation.
METHODS
A detailed review was performed on the current definition and treatment of premature ejaculation.
RESULTS
Several definitions were found, however a consensus on how to define premature ejaculation is lacking. In addition, there are several treatments: daily, on demand and topical agents.
CONCLUSIONS
Premature ejaculation implicated three specific characteristics: short intravaginal ejaculatory latency time, lack of control, and sexual dissatisfaction.

探讨关于早泄当前定义及治疗的一个概念。
方法
对早泄的当前定义及治疗进行了详细综述。
结果
发现了几种定义，然而在如何定义早泄方面缺乏共识。此外，有几种治疗方法：每日用药、按需用药和局部用药。
结论
早泄涉及三个特定特征：阴道内射精潜伏期短、缺乏控制以及性方面的不满意。
