Abstract

OBJECTIVE

The purpose of this article is to discuss and illustrate the MDCT findings of potential complications after cystectomy and urinary diversion.

CONCLUSION

Multiple complications may occur after urinary diversion. Tumor recurrence is a major concern in patients with bladder cancer. CT has an important role in postoperative evaluation of patients with urinary diversion to identify correctable causes early to prevent deterioration in renal function and detect tumor recurrence in patients who had bladder cancer.
