[Personal physician system is tested in Finnish primary health care].

A new system of personal physicians with responsibility for a delimited population is now under test in Finnish primary care. The article presents the experience gained hitherto which indicates inter alia that the physicians involved in primary care are enabled to work more flexibly. Some 100 physicians in primary care and medical personnel at 10 places in Finland are currently participating in the experiment.
