Abstract
In mice treated with endotoxin (LPS) extracted from Escherichia coli (1 mg/kg, i.p.), 3 hr after paraquat (70 mg/kg, i.p.) a delay in the appearance of deaths and a decrease in their number in 10-day cumulative mortality were observed in comparison to those injected with saline after paraquat.
