To study the steroidal saponins from the fresh rhizomes of Dioscorea zingiberensis and search for new bioactive compounds.
The steroidal saponins were isolated by normal phase silica gel and RP-C18 column chromatography, their chemical structures were elucidated by MS and NMR methods.
One steroidal saponin was isolated from EtOH extract of the fresh rhizomes of D. zingiberensis and identified as 26-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-3beta, 22alpha, 26-trihydroxy-25(R)-furosta-5-en-3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 --> 4) ]-beta-D-glucopyranoside.
This compound is isolated from Dioscorea L. the first time.

采用正相硅胶柱色谱和RP-C18柱色谱分离甾体皂苷,通过质谱和核磁共振方法阐明其化学结构。
从盾叶薯蓣新鲜根茎的乙醇提取物中分离得到一种甾体皂苷,鉴定为26-O-β-D-吡喃葡萄糖基-3β,22α,26-三羟基-25(R)-呋甾-5-烯-3-O-[α-L-鼠李吡喃糖基-(1→4)]-β-D-吡喃葡萄糖苷。
该化合物首次从薯蓣属植物中分离得到。
