Endoscopic ultrasonography guided fine needle aspiration is a useful diagnostic aid in evaluation of cystic pancreatic mass. We report our patient with pancreatic tuberculous abscess who presented with pyrexia, and was found to have cystic pancreatic mass on CT scan. Pancreatic tuberculous abscess was diagnosed with the help of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC), thereby obviating the necessity for surgery.
内镜超声引导下细针穿刺抽吸术是评估胰腺囊性肿块的一种有用的诊断辅助手段。我们报告了一例胰腺结核性脓肿患者，该患者发热，CT扫描发现有胰腺囊性肿块。借助内镜超声（EUS）引导下细针穿刺抽吸细胞学检查（FNAC）诊断为胰腺结核性脓肿，从而避免了手术的必要性。
