The present work aimed to prove the usage of neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) as an early biomarker for kidney injury and to assess the relationship between NGAL and serum creatinine and cystatin C in patients with normal serum creatinine undergoing percutaneous coronary angiography. Thirty patients with normal serum creatinine undergoing coronary angiography were enrolled. Estimation of blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, lipid profile, creatinine, NGAL, and cystatin C were done before coronary angiography for all patients. Serum creatinine, NGAL and cystatin C were evaluated again at 4 and 24 hours after coronary angiography. There was a significant increase in serum NGAL level 4 hours and 24 hours after coronary interventions compared to the baseline value before coronary angiography. Before coronary angiography, serum NGAL was positively correlated with serum creatinine, and cystatin C.
Serum NGAL and cystatin C could be valuable in the detection of early renal impairment after coronary angiography.
本研究旨在证明中性粒细胞明胶酶相关脂质运载蛋白(NGAL)可作为经皮冠状动脉介入术(PCI)患者发生肾损伤的早期生物标志物,并评估 NGAL 与血清肌酐和胱抑素 C 之间的关系。
选择 30 例血清肌酐正常的行冠状动脉造影术的患者。所有患者于冠状动脉造影术前检测血糖、糖化血红蛋白、血脂、肌酐、NGAL 和胱抑素 C。于冠状动脉造影术后 4 小时和 24 小时再次检测血清肌酐、NGAL 和胱抑素 C。与冠状动脉造影术前相比,PCI 术后 4 小时和 24 小时血清 NGAL 水平显著升高。在冠状动脉造影术前,血清 NGAL 与血清肌酐和胱抑素 C 呈正相关。
血清 NGAL 和胱抑素 C 可用于检测冠状动脉造影术后早期肾损伤。
