Even the definition of psychogenic sterility is ambiguous, the number of psychogenic sterilities is uncertain and the limits of psychogenic sterility vary considerably from one author to another. The author of this paper attempts to circumscribe a shifting pathology and warns against using psychosomatic conditions as the "hold-all for our ignorance".
即使心因性不育的定义尚不明确，心因性不育的数量也不确定，而且不同作者对心因性不育的界定差异很大。本文作者试图界定一种不断变化的病理学现象，并告诫不要将身心疾病用作“我们无知的万能借口”。
