[An analysis of the validity of the diagnosis of circulatory system diseases as the main cause of death in the Ukrainian SSR].

A study is presented of the quality of postmortal diagnosis of circulatory diseases due to incorrect formulation of the postmortal diagnosis. On the basis of the above in some regions of the Ukrainian SSR. It was found that the death cause from cardiovascular diseases was erroneous in 5-40% due to defects in postmortal diagnosis or analysis the authors developed organization measures on increasing the quality of postmortal diagnosis and entries in death certificates. The realization of these measures will allow to achieve statistically valid data on mortality from cardiovascular diseases in the Ukrainian SSR.
