Xymedon, a new preparation of the pyrimidine series, was studied in experiment and in the clinic. Experiments showed that on the 5th postoperative day the tensile strength of the scar was greater by 57% and the elasticity strength was greater by 21.5% in animals given Xymedon that in the control animals; the tensile strength was 42.4% greater than in animals given methyluracil. Oral administration of Xymedon in the postoperative period in 92 patients with various forms of acute appendicitis allowed earlier removal of the sutures and reduction of the number of wound complications from 13.8 to 3.3%, as a result of which the patients were discharged from the clinic within a shorter period. The authors recommend Xymedon as a stimulator of reparative processes in the wound and for the prevention of postoperative wound suppuration in emergency abdominal surgery.
嘧啶系列的一种新制剂——二甲嘧啶醇胺,已在实验和临床中进行了研究。实验表明,术后第5天,给予二甲嘧啶醇胺的动物瘢痕抗张强度比对照动物高57%,弹性强度高21.5%;抗张强度比给予甲基尿嘧啶的动物高42.4%。在92例各种类型急性阑尾炎患者的术后阶段口服二甲嘧啶醇胺,可使缝线更早拆除,伤口并发症数量从13.8%降至3.3%,结果患者能在更短时间内出院。作者推荐二甲嘧啶醇胺作为伤口修复过程的刺激剂,并用于预防急诊腹部手术中的术后伤口化脓。
