Abstract

Started from the concept of lifelong learning it is discussed that the relation between motivation and barriers or obstructions has important influence on learning in old age. Even if differential view has been regarded, in general we may suppose that motivation will have a decreasing tendency and barriers an increasing tendency in old age. This concept is seen together with Welford's Cost- and Benefit-Theory (1976), discussed for Motivation, Capacity, Learning and Age. Consequences would be to look for measures to increase the motivation and decrease the barriers as far as possible.

从终身学习的概念出发,探讨了动机与障碍之间的关系对老年人学习具有重要影响。即使存在不同观点,但总体而言,我们可以认为在老年时动机将呈下降趋势,而障碍将呈上升趋势。这一概念与韦尔福德的成本效益理论(1976年)相关,该理论针对动机、能力、学习和年龄进行了讨论。其结果是要寻求措施尽可能提高动机并减少障碍。
