[The role of surgical methods in the treatment of patients with recurrence of destructive pulmonary tuberculosis].

The treatment of patients with relapses of destructive pulmonary tuberculosis is associated with serious difficulties. At the stage of chemotherapy it has been possible to achieve cavity closure in 36.6% of the patients. Surgical intervention was required in 46.5% of the cases with relapses of destructive tuberculosis.
