45 cases (52 eyes) of non-diabetic vitreous hemorrhage, including 21 cases of Eales' disease, 20 cases of retinal venous obstruction, 4 cases of SMD etc. had visual acuities of 0.05 or less, except 1 eye of 0.4. After pars plana vitrectomy, some in combination with scleral encircling, vision in 62.7% of the eyes reached 0.1 or over, while 80.7% showed improvement. The points of note during operation, the proper timing of the surgery and complications were discussed.
45例（52眼）非糖尿病性玻璃体积血患者，其中包括21例伊尔斯病、20例视网膜静脉阻塞、4例视网膜大动脉瘤等，除1眼视力为0.4外，其余视力均为0.05及以下。经扁平部玻璃体切除术后，部分联合巩膜环扎术，62.7%的患眼视力达到0.1及以上，80.7%的患眼视力有改善。文中讨论了手术中的注意事项、合适的手术时机及并发症。
