Eight cases of spinal brucellosis are included in this study. Diagnosis was established by positive serology. Back pain was the most common complaint. Functional disturbance in walking was observed in three cases; in two others this was because of impairment of cord function. Clinical hepatosplenomegaly was found in one case. Subclinical organomegaly was diagnosed in two other patients. Psoas abscess was identified by computed tomographic scan in two separate cases. Response to drug therapy and surgical decompression, when indicated, resulted in complete recovery in all patients.
本研究纳入了8例脊柱布鲁氏菌病患者。通过血清学阳性确诊。背痛是最常见的主诉。3例患者出现行走功能障碍；另外2例是由于脊髓功能受损。1例患者发现临床肝脾肿大。另外2例患者诊断为亚临床器官肿大。2例患者通过计算机断层扫描发现腰大肌脓肿。在有指征时，药物治疗和手术减压取得了所有患者完全康复的效果。
