[The treatment of acute occlusion of the retinal arteries with novocaine blocks of the carotid sinus area].

Abstract
The treatment of 27 patients with occlusions of the branches and the trunk of the central retinal artery by means of novocaine blockades of sino-carotid zone and medicamentous therapy has resulted in the rise of visual acuity in 74% of cases, widening of the visual field--in 88.8%. The author considers the method to be one of effective means for rehabilitation of patients with acute disturbances in arterial blood circulation in the retina.
摘要
采用颈总动脉区奴夫卡因封闭及药物疗法治疗27例视网膜中央动脉分支及主干阻塞患者，结果74%的病例视力提高，88.8%的病例视野扩大。作者认为该方法是视网膜动脉血液循环急性障碍患者康复的有效手段之一。
