[The health status of workers engaged in the production of cobalt salts].

The professional noxae for workers engaged in production of cobalt acetate, chloride, nitrate and sulfate is dust of the final product in the form of aerosol disintegration. The main professional pathology is manifested in hypertrophic defensive processes in the upper respiratory tract, in contact dermatitis, cardiac disorders of different severity grades. Clinico-biochemical investigations revealed a clear increase of the content of urea, rest nitrogen, glucose, cholesterol and electrolytes (sodium and potassium) in the blood.
