Injections of air into the anterior chamber were applied by the authors in choroidal detachment and flat anterior chamber after 22 cataract extractions and 4 fistulizing operations in glaucoma (together 26 cases) after an ineffective conservative treatment. The deepening of the anterior chamber and reapposition of the choroid was achieved in all the cases. Special attention in applying this method was called to the deepening of the anterior chamber and to supply a considerable amount of air into the eye, so as to raise the intraocular pressure up to the normal values or even more. The air remained in the eye even for 7 days. In 12 cases there was a need to inject the air a second time because of an insufficient reapposition of the choroid after the resorption of the air finished or because of the recurrence of the detachment.
在22例白内障摘除术及4例青光眼造瘘术后（共26例），经保守治疗无效后，作者对脉络膜脱离和无前房的患者进行了前房注入空气的操作。所有病例均实现了前房加深和脉络膜复位。应用该方法时需特别注意前房加深以及向眼内注入大量空气，以使眼压升高至正常水平甚至更高。空气在眼内甚至可留存7天。12例患者因空气吸收后脉络膜复位不充分或因脱离复发而需要再次注入空气。
