This is a report of a novel treatment approach for chronic anal fissure using minimally invasive sacral nerve stimulation (SNS).
The patient underwent uneventful placement of 1 temporary 8-electrode lead (Medtronic Inc, Minneapolis, Minnesota) for sacral nerve root stimulation.
The patient experienced instantaneous relief of perineal pain after start of SNS and steady healing of the fissure by the end of the second week.
SNS offers an alternative treatment option of chronic anal fissure for patients who choose not to use more invasive surgical interventions.
本文报告一种采用微创骶神经刺激（SNS）治疗慢性肛裂的新方法。
患者顺利植入1根用于骶神经根刺激的临时8电极导线（美敦力公司，明尼阿波利斯，明尼苏达州）。
开始骶神经刺激后患者会阴部疼痛立即缓解，至第二周结束时肛裂顺利愈合。
对于选择不采用更具侵入性手术干预的患者，骶神经刺激为慢性肛裂提供了一种替代治疗选择。
