Abstract

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. In recent years, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), as a minimally invasive therapy, has been increasing utilized as a non-surgical treatment option for patients with primary and metastatic lung tumors, and great advances have been achieved. The assessment of response after RFA is challenging, and we recommend the use of CT scans, MRI scans and PET scans to assess response rate. The purpose of the article is to review the principles, experimental background, clinical application and response in the treatment of lung neoplasms.

摘要

肺癌是全球癌症相关死亡的主要原因。近年来,射频消融(RFA)作为一种微创治疗方法,越来越多地被用作原发性和转移性肺肿瘤患者的非手术治疗选择,并取得了巨大进展。评估RFA后的反应具有挑战性,我们建议使用CT扫描、MRI扫描和PET扫描来评估反应率。本文的目的是综述肺肿瘤治疗中的原理、实验背景、临床应用及反应。
