Abstract

In this paper, we introduce an indoor location tracking and navigation system (FIREGUIDE) using Bluetooth and RFID technology. FIREGUIDE assists the firefighters to find the nearest exit location and presents the Incident Commander the current firefighter's location superimposed on a map of the building floor. We envision that the FIREGUIDE system will save significant number of fire fighters and victims' lives.

在本文中，我们介绍了一种使用蓝牙和射频识别技术的室内位置跟踪与导航系统（FIREGUIDE）。FIREGUIDE帮助消防员找到最近的出口位置，并将当前消防员的位置叠加在建筑楼层地图上呈现给事故指挥官。我们设想FIREGUIDE系统将挽救大量消防员和受害者的生命。
