Abstract

In an effort to investigate the diminished capacity of young and old individuals to metabolize certain drugs--in this paper--the effect of different age on the concentrations of the hepatic and renal mixed function oxidase systems of rats was studied. Microsomal cytochrome P-450 concentration and NADH-cytochrome b5 reductase activity were increased both in liver (to 1-2 months) and in kidney (to 2-4 months), and then were decreased. Aging not changed concentrations of hepatic and renal cytochrome b5 after 2 months of life. NADPH-cytochrome P-450 reductase activities were decreased in both organs of young rats and were increased in old rats livers and decreased in old rats kidneys.

为了研究年轻人和老年人代谢某些药物能力下降的情况——在本文中——研究了不同年龄对大鼠肝和肾混合功能氧化酶系统浓度的影响。微粒体细胞色素P-450浓度和NADH-细胞色素b5还原酶活性在肝脏(至1-2个月)和肾脏(至2-4个月)中均升高,然后下降。2个月龄后,衰老并未改变肝脏和肾脏细胞色素b5的浓度。年轻大鼠两个器官中的NADPH-细胞色素P-450还原酶活性均降低,老年大鼠肝脏中的该活性升高,而老年大鼠肾脏中的该活性降低。
