Metronidazole cream 1% was applied externally for the treatment of rosacea during 2 months in 14 women and 6 men. Two patients failed to come for control examination. Out of 18 patients who completed the treatment in 5 the lesions disappeared completely and were not returning during 3 months of follow-up, in 11 cases an improvement was achieved, in 1 case no improvement occurred, and in 1 case worsening was noted. These results suggest that the cream with metronidazole is an effective treatment for rosacea.
1%甲硝唑乳膏外用治疗酒渣鼻，14名女性和6名男性接受了为期2个月的治疗。2名患者未前来进行对照检查。在完成治疗的18名患者中，5例皮损完全消失，在3个月的随访中未复发；11例病情改善；1例无改善；1例病情恶化。这些结果表明，甲硝唑乳膏是治疗酒渣鼻的有效药物。
