The Authors studied a new photopolymerizing orthodontic bonding resin, Trans-Band of 3M. Many ad vantages of the resin were described and particularly the short photopolymerizing time, 20 seconds only, and the uniformity of bond strengths obtained by 20 tests, all higher than 10 Kg. So, the Authors propose to experiment clinically Trans-Bond and, if it had the same ad vantages, to make use of it in place of Concise, the most used composite in orthodontics.
