Abstract

The title dinuclear copper(I) complex, {Cu(2)(C(2)H(3)N)(C(12)H(10)N(2))(C(25)H(22)P(2))(2)(2)}(n), contains 1,2-di-4-pyridyl-ethene, bis-(diphenyl-phosphino)methane and acetonitrile ligands. The two Cu atoms, one with an N(2)P(2) ligand set and the other with an NP(2) ligand set, are bridged by two bis-(diphenyl-phosphino)methane ligands, forming an eight-membered ring.
