Clinico-roentgenological features of 191 patients with lung cancer at first presentation is discussed. Asymptomatic and inapperceptive cancer was registered in 52.6% of patients with peripheral tumor and in 15.7% with central cancer. Symptoms were underestimated in 18.8%. In 51.5% of case, lung pathology had already been evident on previous photoroentgenograms, but it had been either under- or misdiagnosed.
