[A non-pharmacologic method of memory stimulation in elderly patients with the initial stage of vascular dementia].

Psychological approach to elaboration of the issue of memory stimulation resulted in development of a variant of memory training. The method is based on enhancement of memory prerequisites. It was tested in 40 senile patients with initial vasculogenic dementia. Preliminary data suggest a tendency of improvement in memory indices under training.
