Abstract
In a general paediatric department, nurses may have to care for children suffering from severe life-threatening illnesses. When supporting the child and his/her parents, sometimes until the end of life, they must learn to manage their emotions and adopt a position which is both sympathetic and professional.

在普通儿科科室，护士可能不得不照顾患有严重危及生命疾病的儿童。在支持患儿及其父母时，有时直至患儿生命终结，护士必须学会控制自己的情绪，并采取一种既富有同情心又专业的态度。
