Falciparum malaria is a common disease in tropical countries associated with myriad of complications that can be life-threatening. We hereby report an 85 year old male who was suffering from falciparum malaria and presented with subdural hematoma, an unusual complication of central nervous system secondary to severe thrombocytopenia.
恶性疟疾是热带国家的一种常见疾病，会引发多种可能危及生命的并发症。我们在此报告一例85岁男性患者，他患有恶性疟疾，并出现了硬膜下血肿，这是严重血小板减少继发的一种不寻常的中枢神经系统并发症。
