To investigate the changes of Foxp3(+); (including CD4(+);Foxp3(+); and CD4(+);CD25(+);Foxp3(+);) regulatory T cells (Tregs) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
Forty-four ACS patients, twenty patients with stable angina (SA) and twenty-four control patients were enrolled. The percentages of the peripheral Tregs, Foxp3 mRNA and plasma level of TGF-β1 were measured by flow cytometry, real-time quantitative PCR and ELISA.
The percentages of CD4(+);CD25(+);Foxp3(+); Tregs and CD4(+);Foxp3(+); Tregs, Foxp3 mRNA and plasma level of TGF-β1 significantly decreased in the ACS group as compared with those in the SA group and the controls (P<0.05), while there was no significant difference in the percentage of CD4(+);CD25(+); Tregs among all three groups.
There are less Foxp3(+);Tregs, perhaps with impaired function, in ACS patients, which might contribute to plaque destabilization.

纳入44例ACS患者、20例稳定型心绞痛(SA)患者和24例对照患者。采用流式细胞术、实时定量PCR和酶联免疫吸附测定法检测外周血Tregs百分比、Foxp3 mRNA及转化生长因子-β1(TGF-β1)血浆水平。
与SA组和对照组相比,ACS组中CD4(+);CD25(+);Foxp3(+) Tregs和CD4(+);Foxp3(+) Tregs百分比、Foxp3 mRNA及TGF-β1血浆水平显著降低(P<0.05),而三组间CD4(+);CD25(+) Tregs百分比无显著差异。
ACS患者中Foxp3(+) Tregs较少,可能功能受损,这可能导致斑块不稳定。
