Results of an investigation of the efficiency of several antiviral medications in children are presented. Mechanisms of action of etiotropic chemotherapeutic medications are described. Interferons and interferon inductors are characterized and the results of clinical administration of classical interferon inductor cycloferon are reported. Detailed descriptions of immunotropic drugs recommended for use in children are presented.
