Nine patients with carotid stenosis and thrombosis of the internal contralateral carotid were examined by means pattern VEP (visual evoked potential) after photostress to evaluate if the disobliteration of the stenotic side may determine an increase in the overall blood supply to the brain. Our results permit to detect the increase of collateral blood flow to both hemisphere after carotid endarterectomy.
对9例患有颈动脉狭窄且对侧颈内动脉血栓形成的患者,在光应激后通过模式视觉诱发电位(VEP)进行检查,以评估狭窄侧再通是否会导致大脑整体供血增加。我们的结果能够检测出颈动脉内膜切除术后双侧半球侧支血流的增加。
