[The status and tasks of the training of parasitologists in the USSR].

Modern state of under- and postgraduate training of medical parasitologists is reviewed. Main tasks for the improvement of specialist training have been outlined, in particular due to the fact that the educational institutions will work on a self-accounting principle in the nearest future.
