[Factors determining the dynamics of changes in the potential of the ion-selective electrode in clinical electrolyte analyzers].

The author reviews the little known data on factors that influence the results of measuring electrolyte concentrations in clinical ion-selective analyzers. Demonstrates the role of the medium under measurement in the dynamics of ion-selective electrode potential and its influences on the results obtained. Provides recommendations for carrying out some clinically significant analyses with regard to the specificity of measurements using ion-selective electrodes.
