The in-vitro activity of ofloxacin and nalidixic acid was determined against 964 Gram-negative and 66 Gram-positive isolates from different clinical specimens. Ofloxacin showed excellent in vitro activity against Enterobacteriaceae. The compound was significantly more potent than nalidixic acid against Pseudomonas spp. Acinetobacter spp. and Staphylococcus spp. We conclude from our studies that ofloxacin could be a valuable therapeutic agent with a variety of indications.
测定了氧氟沙星和萘啶酸对来自不同临床标本的964株革兰氏阴性菌和66株革兰氏阳性菌的体外活性。氧氟沙星对肠杆菌科细菌显示出优异的体外活性。该化合物对假单胞菌属、不动杆菌属和葡萄球菌属的活性明显高于萘啶酸。我们从研究中得出结论,氧氟沙星可能是一种具有多种适应证的有价值的治疗药物。
