[Epidemic control work and venereal disease morbidity].

Incidence of sexually transmitted diseases was compared to the number of newly diagnosed cases detected at all kinds of prophylactic medical examinations including protective measures in the infection focus. The analysis was made for 1968-1987 and covered the data on the whole of Soviet Union and its separate republics. There was correlation between the two parameters studied.
