Syringomyelia is a fluid-filled tubular cavity within the spinal cord. The exact pathophysiology of syringomyelia remains complex and uncertain.
We present a case of resolution of cervical syringomyelia after cervical disc operation in a follow-up time of 6 months.
Restoration of cerebrospinal fluid flow dynamics between the syrinx and the subarachnoid space via removing the main pathology such as in our reported case, may contribute in resolution of the syrinx cavity (Fig. 3, Ref. 22).
脊髓空洞症是脊髓内充满液体的管状腔隙。脊髓空洞症的确切病理生理学仍复杂且不确定。
我们报告一例在颈椎间盘手术后6个月随访期内颈段脊髓空洞症得到缓解的病例。
如我们报告的病例那样,通过去除主要病变来恢复脊髓空洞与蛛网膜下腔之间的脑脊液流动动力学,可能有助于脊髓空洞腔的消退(图3,参考文献22)。
