Abstract

Evidence-based laboratory medicine (EBLM) is the strategic application of evidence-based medicine (EBM) to laboratory medicine. Although trends toward EBLM were inspired by the movements of EBM and EBLM shares a common policy with EBM, EBLM has many of its own characteristics to be considered from the aspects of not only science but also clinical practice.
