TFIIS2-1, one of the two trypanosome homologues of transcription elongation factor TFIIS (TbTFIIS1, TbTFIIS2-1), with a PWWP domain in the N-terminus, has a possible association with the largest subunit of RNA polymerase II (RPB1) and shares an essential function with TbTFIIS1 in the growth of Trypanosoma brucei. Here we report the resonance assignments of the protein backbone of the PWWP domain of TFIIS2-1 from T. brucei.
TFIIS2-1是转录延伸因子TFIIS的两种锥虫同源物之一（TbTFIIS1、TbTFIIS2-1），其N端有一个PWWP结构域，可能与RNA聚合酶II的最大亚基（RPB1）相关，并在布氏锥虫的生长中与TbTFIIS1共享一项基本功能。在此，我们报告了来自布氏锥虫的TFIIS2-1的PWWP结构域的蛋白质主链的共振归属。
