Abstract
The first neutron beam at the Orleans neutron therapy facility was produced in 1980 through a target and collimator designed by C.G.R MeV. Technical investigations have led to some appreciable improvements for beam penetration and collimation. We report the main characteristics of the irradiation facility in 1988.
