To research the chemical constituents from Gnaphalium hypoleucum.
Compounds were separated by using silica gel, ODS, Sephadex LH-20 chromatography and their structures were elucidated by means of spectral data analysis.
Ten compounds were isolated and identified as tetracosanoic acid (1), 5-hydroxy-3,6,7,8-tetramethoxyflavone (2), beta-sitosterol (3), 5-hydroxy-3,6,7,8,4'-pentamethoxyflavone (4), 5-hydroxy-3,6, 7,8,3',4'-hexamethoxyflavone (5), apigenin (6), luteolin (7), quercetin (8), luteolin4'-O-beta-D-glucoside (9), quercetin-4'-O-beta-D-glucoside (10).
All of these compounds are isolated from this plant for the first time. Compound 5 is isolated from the genus for the first time.

分离鉴定出10个化合物,分别为二十四烷酸(1)、5 - 羟基 - 3,6,7,8 - 四甲氧基黄酮(2)、β - 谷甾醇(3)、5 - 羟基 - 3,6,7,8,4'- 五甲氧基黄酮(4)、5 - 羟基 - 3,6,7,8,3',4'- 六甲氧基黄酮(5)、芹菜素(6)、木犀草素(7)、槲皮素(8)、木犀草素 - 4'- O - β - D - 葡萄糖苷(9)、槲皮素 - 4'- O - β - D - 葡萄糖苷(10)。
