Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) is a well-described complication of aortic aneurysm. In cases where surgical repair of the aneurysm is contraindicated, palliative therapy via medical management of the coagulopathy may be warranted. We present a case of aneurysm-associated DIC successfully managed with low molecular weight heparin.
