Abstract

Recreational resources of the Paratunka health resort region, Kamchatka Krai, are considered. The data on the balneologic properties of nitrogen siliceous thermal waters from the Paratunka deposit and of therapeutic sulfide peloids from Lake Utinoye are presented. The results of evaluation of the bioclimatic conditions of the Paratunka health resort region are reported; it is shown that they account for 57% of the total therapeutic and health-improving potential of the territory of interest.
