An ultra-performance liquid chromatography method has been established for the simultaneous determination of 9 phthalate esters and bisphenol A in cosmetics.
The samples were extracted by methanol and determined by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography with PDA detector. The separation of 9 phthalate esters and bisphenol A was carried out by an Phenyl column (50 mm x 2.1 mm id, 1.7 microm) column and quantification was based on detection wavelength at 275 nm.
The linear ranges of the calibration curves for 9 phthalate esters and bisphenol A were 10-300 microg/ml and 5-150 micro g/ml, respectively. The correlation coefficients of the standard curves were all higher than 0.9996. The limits of detection (LODs) for phthalate esters were 0.4-0.81 microg/ml and bisphenol A was 0.2 microg/ml. The average recoveries at the concentrations studied were in the range from 91.9% to 105.4%. Relative standard deviations were all less than 5.23%.
The method is simple, fast and effective, and could meet the needs for routine analysis of the 9 phthalate esters and bisphenol A in cosmetics.

样品用甲醇提取，采用配有二极管阵列检测器的超高效液相色谱仪进行测定。9种邻苯二甲酸酯和双酚A的分离采用苯基柱（50 mm×2.1 mm内径，1.7μm），定量检测波长为275 nm。
9种邻苯二甲酸酯和双酚A校准曲线的线性范围分别为10～300μg/ml和5～150μg/ml。标准曲线的相关系数均高于0.9996。邻苯二甲酸酯的检出限为0.4～0.81μg/ml，双酚A的检出限为0.2μg/ml。在所研究的浓度下，平均回收率在91.9%～105.4%范围内。相对标准偏差均小于5.23%。
该方法简便、快速、有效，可满足化妆品中9种邻苯二甲酸酯和双酚A的常规分析需求。
