Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To investigate the chemical constituents of the active fraction of Polygonum capitatum.

METHODS

Various preparative chromatographic techniques were used for the isolation and purification of the compounds in the flavonoid-enriched fraction and their structures were determined by comparison of their physicochemical and chromatographic data with those of the authentic samples and spectral analysis.

RESULTS

Fourteen compounds were obtained and identified as 1-O-P-D-(6'-O-galloyl)-glucopyranosyl-3-methoxy-5-hydroxybenzene (1) ,5,7-dihydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one (2), ellagic acid (3), myricetrin (4), hirsutine (5), rutin (6), quercetin-3-O-(2"-O-galloyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (7) , quercetin-3-O-( 3"-O-galloyl) -/3-D-glucopyranoside (8), quercitrin (9) , kaempferol-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (10), quercetin-3-O-(2"-O-galloyl) -alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (11), quercetin-3-O-(3"-O-galloyl) -alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (12), quercetin (13), kaempferol (14).

CONCLUSION

The flavonoid-enriched fraction contains flavonols and their glycosides as its major components,which might be responsible for the biological effects of Polygonum capitatum. Compounds 1, 8 and 12 are isolated from the genus Polygonum for the first time; Compound 3 is isolated from Polygonum capitatum for the first time.

研究头花蓼活性部位的化学成分。

方法

采用多种制备色谱技术对富含黄酮部位的化合物进行分离纯化,并通过与对照品的理化性质、色谱数据比较及光谱分析确定其结构。

结果

得到14个化合物,分别鉴定为1-O-β-D-(6'-O-没食子酰基)-吡喃葡萄糖基-3-甲氧基-5-羟基苯(1)、5,7-二羟基-4H-色原酮(2)、鞣花酸(3)、杨梅黄素(4)、毛钩藤碱(5)、芦丁(6)、槲皮素-3-O-(2''-O-没食子酰基)-β-D-吡喃葡萄糖苷(7)、槲皮素-3-O-(3''-O-没食子酰基)-β-D-吡喃葡萄糖苷(8)、槲皮苷(9)、山柰酚-3-O-α-L-鼠李糖苷(10)、槲皮素-3-O-(2''-O-没食子酰基)-α-L-鼠李糖苷(11)、槲皮素-3-O-(3''-O-没食子酰基)-α-L-鼠李糖苷(12)、槲皮素(13)、山柰酚(14)。

结论

富含黄酮部位主要成分是黄酮醇及其苷类,可能是头花蓼发挥生物学效应的物质基础。化合物1、8、12为首次从蓼属植物中分离得到;化合物3为首次从广西头花蓼中分离得到。
