[Acute changes in the body of laboratory rats during development after the parenteral administration of the herbicide Zeazin S-40. I. Determination of LD50 and other biochemical findings].

On laboratory rats of different age the effect of the acute intraperitoneal administration of the herbicide Zeazin S-40, 570 mg.kg-1 was investigated. The dose was derived after assessment of LD50 i. p. It was revealed that this substance causes during the first hour after introduction into the organism a response in the internal environment manifested among others by changes in the serum levels of glucose, lactate and triacylglycerols.
